Blender Test Render
Blender / Scenery
Blender / Scenery
I posted this in september 2021 on my Facebook page. I still DO render with C4D, but I will not buy any new versions anymore.
Since Maxon is becoming more and more customer hostile with their subscription models, especially towards small companies and freelancers because of their ridiculous pricing, I have finally decided I am fed up with them. I certainly will continue to use my perpetual licenses of C4D and Redshift, but my latest experience with Maxon representatives being extremely arrogant and even outright lying to me, was the final straw that convinced me it is time to look into Blender. It absolutely is better (to me) to give money to the Blender foundation as donations or cloud subscription than to throw a single more cent into Maxon’s greedy throat.
I used C4D in and out for 30 years, from when it still was called FastRay on the Amiga. But enough is enough. If they do not care about long time fans and alienate customers just to rake in more money: so be it.
First slow steps in Blender … It’s certainly different, but a lot of fun to learn something new.
